Prolite Short Girth

The Prolite® Performance Girth is manufactured under licence from Fairfax Saddles Ltd and incorporates a patented design that has been scientifically proven to enhance a horse's freedom of movement.

Constructed using an advanced technical fabric, the girth remains cool, dry and breathable during use. The material is also antibacterial and hypoallergenic, helping to maximise comfort for sensitive horses.

Developed through extensive testing using pressure mapping and gait analysis, this short girth is designed for use with dressage saddles and monoflap jump saddles. Its innovative shape has been carefully engineered to avoid the sensitive area behind the horse's elbow, reducing restriction and promoting natural movement.

Strategically positioned cushioning enables the front edge of the girth to effectively "float", allowing the horse's muscles to move freely beneath it rather than being impeded. The patented combination of contouring and cushioning creates a protective buffer zone that eliminates hard pressure points and encourages greater comfort and mobility.

The Narrow Gauge Short Girth is particularly suited to horses with a forward girth groove, narrow ribcage, or prominent elbow wrinkles where conventional girths may cause discomfort.
