Prolite Pony Girth

The Prolite Pony Girth has been scientifically developed and tested using pressure mapping and gait analysis to promote comfort, freedom of movement, and performance. Specifically designed for ponies, it is suitable for use with GP and traditional two-flap jump saddles.

Its anatomically contoured shape helps avoid the sensitive area behind the elbow, reducing the risk of rubbing and pressure points. Strategically positioned cushioning allows the front edge of the girth to effectively "float", enabling the pony's muscles to move naturally beneath it rather than being restricted. This patented combination of contouring and cushioning creates a protective buffer zone, eliminating hard edges and encouraging greater freedom of movement.

To minimise bulk beneath the saddle flap, the Pony Girth features webbing buckle straps and does not include a martingale attachment. The girth is also non-elasticated, providing a secure and consistent fit.

Sizing Information

The Pony Prolite Girth is available in a dedicated pony width and is a completely scaled-down version of the original Prolite girth. While it is narrower than the full-size model, it is not directly comparable to either the Standard Gauge or Narrow Gauge versions. Every aspect of the design has been proportionally reduced to suit the anatomy and movement of ponies, ensuring optimal comfort and performance.
